Founded and bootstrapped Tricksmith Games, a multi-product indie studio building apps and games that blend tradition, touch, and technology. Led end-to-end product strategy, development, design, branding, and launch — including multiple shipped products across iOS, watchOS, web, and Unity.
Key Achievements
- Founded an AI-first company focused on games and creative apps, managing all aspects of vision, strategy, and execution.
- Leveraged AI: Using AI to build, and building apps that use AI. I’m technical enough to be able to build and ship alone.
- Published multi-platform apps: First-author on 2 papers in Nature Microbiology and Cell Host & Microbe
- Technical Execution: Handled full-stack product development, including Unity, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, Firebase, Astro, and deployment pipelines. Implemented secure authentication, local/offline data storage, and subscription purchase systems.
Projects
- BreathAnchor: Utility app to help people who need to use rhythm breathing to calm down. Works on Apple Watch and iPhone.
- WristLevels: Utility app for Sonos speakers. Use your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Home Screen Widgets to control the volume in any room.
- Twenty-Five: Irish Card Game: A game I grew up playing, finally on the App Store. A fun, trick-based game for 2-10 players. One of the few apps that can be played in the Irish language. Play with friends and family using FaceTime!
- PotteryFlow Track the status of your pottery with the app. Store every detail of how you made your pottery, and share it with friends!

Current Status
